Regardless of its shortcomings, I would highly recommend that anyone read “Catholicism and Fundamentalism” who is interested in the Catholic Faith and its defense. Catholics new to the history of the Bible will benefit from this discussion, although for the full story one needs to turn to Hugh Pope’s English Versions of the Bible12 which examines at greater length than one might think possible fumdamentalism the translations to the meating century.
